Holy Smokes! Human Movement donated $93,000 in cold hard cash in 2011! That's a lot of happy non-profits. If your organization wants to get in on this, email us at info_canyoumove.me. We are currenlty accepting volunteer applications for the Denver Oktoberfest, Colorado Relay and all our great events.
Human Movement Management does exactly that...keeps people moving. We provide a premium outlet for turn-key event management. Whether it's running 174 miles through the Rocky Mountains or dancing the night away at one of our music festivals; Human Movement creates and manages events for municipalities, corporations, non-profits, and private groups. We inspire the world to get out and get after it!
Our abilities know no boundaries. If you have a dream, we can build it. Our resume holds 400+ events, including marathons on far away islands, production videos for ESPN and Gatorade, and multi-day music and arts festivals for over 500,000 people. We work hard and we love what we do. We're not a non-profit, but we have donated over $600,000 to National Charities, Local Non Profits and Youth Sport Programs.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to discuss working together...
California by blood, not relay-shun, but now he's a permanent fixture in the Rocky Mountains. Aaron manages everything Entertainment for the Human Movement MGMT team. From major artists to garage band heroes and German polka kings, he knows the music industry as well as anyone. He also manages running events and the charity relations with HMM.
You may not believe that behind those ravishing good looks and stellar charm, there's a man of wisdom. Aaron graduated with honors from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Aaron also studied at the Yonsei Univerity, Seoul, South Korea.
He's an extreme Laker, Dodger, and UCLA fan. Hey, not everyone can be perfect.
Human Movement MGMT is a pretty sweet place to work. Some compare it to 6th Grade Art Class where you get to dream up ideas and create all day long...and then there's Roger.
Every company needs a numbers guy/gal, fortunately ours is kinda cool.
Roger holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Western Michigan University, where he graduated cum laude and is currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with an emphasis on taxation and business law. Roger is a CPA in the states of Michigan and Colorado.
When he's not in his office surrounded by many leather bound books and smelling of rich mohagany, Roger gets out on his road bike as often as possible. And sometimes, after a long ride, Roger will walk back into the office, head straight to the creative department with a really good idea! (Seriously! He really has a left side to his brain!)
If you have a few hours, grab a six pack (or more) and sit down with our Big Kahuna. He has some pretty wild stories to share (and most of them are even true!) From saving lives in the middle of the Prince WIlliam Sound to the time he won a year's salary off of poker legend, Doyle Brunson, it can be pretty entertaining. And the most amazing thing is, he sometimes comes to work and puts together some pretty amazing events.
Jeff barely graduated from Western Michigan University with his BBA, Finance and Commercial Law and is still hoping the US National Soccer team will call him up for a try-out. He started the University of Colorado MBA's program, but if you ask him, it was only because he wanted a better college football team to tailgate for. Then he found out that the Buffs aren't much better than Western.
Even though Jeff made his entrance into the event world via triathlon and marathon production, his favorite quote is from his hero Kenny Powers "No, no I play real sports, not trying to be the best at exercising."
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TOTAL
Since 1902, some of the best climbing equipment in the world has been made by Gransfors Bruks AB of Sweden. This is an essay that came from one of their early catalogs. It's amazing how almost a century later, a company like Human Movement MGMT can still apply this ethos:
"Responsibility for the Total. What we take, how and what we make, what we waste, is in fact a question of ethics. We have unlimited responsibility for the "TOTAL". A responsibility which we try to take, but do not always suceed in. One part of this responsibility is the quality of the product...To make a high quality product is a way to pay respect and responsibility to the customer and the user of the product...This is good for the owner, the user. But this is good as well as part of the greater whole: we shall take less (decreased consumption of material and energy), that we need to produce less (gives us more time to do other things we think are important or enjoyable), destroy less waste."
Human Movement MGMT (HMM) has produced over 450 events nationwide. Our goal has always been to create events that we would enjoy to compete or participate in, at locations we would love to be at. We understand that we have a responsibility to our customer to produce the best and safest events possible, but we also have a greater responsibility to the environment around us.
We are not perfect, but it is our mission to reduce waste and preserve our resources at every event. Our pledge is to buy locally, recycle all that is possible and to leave no trace.
We hope that you'll take this message to your local event company and remind them to stop using plastic disposible water bottles, stop printing results, print only the necessary pieces of information for a safe event and end the amazing amount of plastic "goody" bags. It is just as effective to mail coupons to participants, rather than give away a plastic bag full of paper.
There were over 6,000,000 competitors in running and triathlon events in the United States in 2011. We all can do our part to leave no trace.
Keep Moving,

"In June 2010, Human Movement helped the Louisville Chamber of Commerce with our Inaugural Taste of Louisville Half Marathon/5K race. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! For our first year we were hoping to get around 100 runners. We got over 350 runners!! Human Movement took care of everything for us, from advertising and designing a web site, to orchestrating all race day logistics. They even designed and created our very own unique trophies. They did an excellent job, with no detail being overlooked. It was so refreshing to be working with a company that was so reliable and trustworthy. We have had nothing but positive feedback from the racers saying that this was one of the best running races they had ever participated in. Everything they promised us, they delivered and then some. We are looking so forward to working with them again next year."
Shelley Angell - Executive Director
Louisville Chamber of Commerce
"HMM was great at our event! Their staff were on-site early to set up everything needed for a successful start and finish. Their services gave our event a professional touch including inflatable archways at the start and finish lines, chip timing, and music and announcements as racers crossed the finish line. We look forward to working with HMM again they were awesome!"
Joanne Breigenzer - Recreation & Culture Director
Town of Silverthorne, Colorado
"The Human Movement crew was wonderful to work with. They were professional, organized and cool under pressure. The timing services provided, inflatable's, fencing, amplification and music, really brought our race to the next level!"
